chmod 777 As an admin how can a chmod 777 on certain filesfolders be prevented? To do so in any Linux, but I am most interested in RHEL and RHEL. I'm trying to change the permissions of temp_dir to 777. Why are these mands not acplishing that? I'm using Linux by the way.
